Hino Trucks Has Record Year....Trucks Sales Rise 39%




Hino Trucks has announced ending the 2006 Fiscal Year with its best results ever.
Hino Trucks retailed a record 6,595 trucks in its fiscal year that ended on March 31, 2007. This was a 39 percent increase from the prior fiscal year, continuing to make Hino Trucks the fastest growing truck OEM in the country!

Hino Trucks record year in the U.S. ranks 3rd overall for all Hino Motors Limited, with only the Japanese market and Thailand market selling more Hino trucks.

“I am very confident with the excellent performance of our team members that this year’s even loftier goals can be achieved for 2007”, said Mr. Hiroji Kurayama, President of Hino Motor Sales U.S.A, Inc.

The current fiscal year for Hino Trucks runs from April 1st – March 31st , 2007 and they have set targets shown in the table below.

Hino Truck’s achievement of the new targets will be the milestone toward the new era of the company to become one of the key players in the U.S. truck market in the coming years. During 2008 Hino Trucks expects to be at 10,000 units in truck sales.
