Westcott Joins Hino Trucks


William E. Westcott has joined Hino Trucks as National Used Truck and Fleet Sales Manager. He will be based in Hino’s Detroit, MI headquarters and will focus on working with the Hino Dealer Network to market used trucks nationwide.

Detroit, MI – October 3, 2005 Hino Motors Sales U.S.A., Inc. (HMS) has announced the addition of Bill Westcott as its National Used Truck and Fleet Sales Manager. In his role at Hino, Mr. Westcott will work with Hino Dealers to market used trucks. He will also play a key role in Hino’s growing fleet business as he calls on fleet customers around the country.

“Our rapid growth now calls for expansion of our sales and marketing team”, said Nick Vermet, Sr. VP Sales and Marketing for Hino Trucks. “Bill’s industry experience and specifically his knowledge of the used truck market will be a great asset. We are excited to have him on board”.

Bill Westcott has over 28 years of industry experience in sales, parts, service and field representation. In his roles with both Detroit Diesel and Freightliner, Bill was instrumental in building sales programs for both OEM and end user customers.
